Pastor Shepherd has announced that he will be leaving Union to heed God’s call to serve as Senior Pastor and Head of Staff at the Presbyterian Church in Westfield New Jersey. His last Sunday with us will be September 6th. If you haven’t already, you can read his Pastoral Letter by clicking here.

Pastor Aaron and our popular guest preacher John Lilly often mentioned the poet Mary Oliver in their

sermons. She was a Pulitzer Prize-winning inspirational writer of more than 30 collections of poetry and essays

on nature and beauty.

Next week on Tuesday evening, Aug. 25th, there will be a program on American Masters/GBH Channel 2 at 9 PM.
