"Earnestly, Tenderly, Jesus is Calling" --William L. Thompson
In This Edition:
“Coming Home” for Advent
Join us for the last Sunday of Advent this week, as we hear the Nativity story and prepare ourselves for the good news of Christmas: that God makes a home among us through Jesus Christ. This is the last Sunday for anyone to add an ornament from home to our “church family Christmas tree” in the sanctuary.
An Invitation for Christmas Eve
There’s still time for you to extend an invitation to someone in your life to join us on Christmas Eve! This is a time of year when many people yearn for the true meaning of Christmas, and we are happy to share the good news of great joy with ALL people!

to keep in mind the virgin Mary (the real person) and the humanity of the holy family
with joy, for Kerry’s friend Diane, whose cancer treatments have been effective.
for Anne Totten, who recently broke her other hip, and is now hospitalized in Boston.
for Ben Kerns, as he waits for the results of his veterinary board exams
for an end to war in Israel and Lebanon, and for safety for Jim’s friends in Lebanon
for Jeremy Jacobs, a friend of Joe Wallan’s, who passed away, and all who mourn
for Pam’s daughter Lauren’s mother-in-law, who has had a recurrence of cancer
for Christ Weylman’s dad, who recently had a bad fall, and for Chris as she provides care for him
