Sermon Series on Dreams Wraps Up

This Sunday is the third and final sermon in the series, fittingly ending with the story of “that dreamer,” Joseph (of technicolor-dreamcoat fame!). This Sunday is also a communion Sunday, so come out and enjoy the sacrament in the park with us!

Joint Services with South Walpole UMC

We’re continuing our summertime tradition of joint worship services with our siblings in Christ down Washington Street! Next Sunday, August 9, we will worship at South Walpole UMC at 10:00 AM. Pastor Ken Mantler will preach, and Jim and Heather will provide music! The following Sunday will be worship in the Park, with Pastor Shepherd preaching, and Natalia joining us as guest soloist.

Concerts on the Common

This week’s chance to BE WITH our neighbors is a free concert at Stone Field! Bring your folding chair, wear your “Church by the Park” T-Shirt and enjoy the music with our friends and neighbors from 6-8 next Tuesday at Stone Field. Contact Mary Wallan to volunteer to hand out cold water bottles and information cards about the church during the event. You can contact Mary at [email protected] or 339-225-8503.

Mary will not be able to attend on August 4th.

Holding in Prayer

This week, as a community of faith we pray:

for Silpa and her family, as she travels to India to be with family

for Tim, who has recovered from his car accident, and is starting a new job.

for our upcoming Christmas Concert

With joy, for Lew’s successful treatment and for supportive prayers

with joy, for a great visit with Natalia’s parents, who came to town for the first time in a while

For the Jones Family, especially for Mallory and her kids, Alexa, Jason, Shayne, Max, and Kylie, as they mourn.

for Justin’s Mom and Stepfather, who are in Colorado, and for all those affected by wildfires in the West

for Vir’s father, who is undergoing cancer treatment, and for Vir and Sahana as they travel to India

for Pam’s uncle Bill, and his children, who are caring for him
