This Saturday, May 2nd from 9am - 1pm is our 6th annual Pop-Up Thrift Shop & Bake Sale! We are now in prep phase and need your help! Here's our schedule of events - please email Christine Bemko at [email protected] to let her know when you can help! An hour or two makes a huge difference and all abilities are welcome, there’s something for everyone! It’s also a great chance to do some early shopping! Please note our biggest need is Saturday from 8:30 AM - 10AM to help with outdoor setup and the early morning rush. |
Thursday, April 30 - Set-Up |
10 AM – 1 PM ish – Join Nancy Farris and Shirley Booth to sort through the attic treasure donations
4 PM – 7 PM – Join Christine Bemko and team help tag and hang clothing donations and continue sorting through attic treasures
Friday, May 1 - Set-Up
· 10 AM – 7 PM – rounds of volunteers will rotate throughout the day to complete sorting, pricing items and tagging clothes. A hit list of “to-dos” will be ready – pick a task and get to work! A point person will always be available to answer questions 😊
Bake Sale Drop Off
· Drop off your baked goods anytime on Friday (10-7) or before 9 on Saturday morning. Please label the ingredients. We’ve had regulars come just for the bake sale, so THANK YOU to our bakers!!
Saturday, May 2 - Selling (8:30 AM – 1 PM)
· Biggest need for volunteers are from 8:30 AM – 10 AM to help with outdoor setup and the morning rush.
· Help at one of 3 check-out tables or float around to keep things nice and tidy as people shop!
Saturday, May 2 - Clean-up
· 1PM – 2:30 - Pack up unsold goods and bring specific donations to near-by donation centers.
Spread the word! Tell friends to join… and bring a friend to shop with! You never know what treasures you’ll find, and even better to shop for a good cause 😊
