In Memory of Carol Sandahl

Carol’s Memorial service will be held Sunday, May 11th, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Congregational Church. A collation will be held after in Herbert Harrison Hall.

Walk For Hunger

I want to sincerely thank those members of Union Congregational Church for their continued support of my Walk for Hunger. My goal this year was to raise at least $10,000.00.

Well, with your help we crushed that goal and the final tally once everything is posted to my website will be $13,352.00!

These funds will help to stock food pantries and feed thousands of families here in Massachusetts!

I walk each year to honor the memory of Kay Williams who inspired me back in the early 1980's to begin walking. This year I walked with a heavy heart with the recent passing of Carol Sandahl. I had her with spirit with me every step of my 20 miles.

I do not see hunger ending in this state/country anytime soon. So, I will be back at it again next May for my 43rd Walk.
